Blue Mountain Hike

On Monday, July 1st, Dawn, Heather, Snuffy, Iwan, Deb and I hiked to the top of Blue Mountain. The gods smiled upon us with gorgeous (autumnal) weather-- sunny and cool, and no humidity. The views from the top of the mountain were amazing, even if it was windy enough to knock you off the lookout tower.

Hooper Mine

Heather, Dawn, Ginger and I wandered around the old Hooper Garnet Mine. Saw lots of interesting flora and fauna, and picked up lots of pretty rocks.
