 | | En route to Toronto, we decided to stop and see Niagara Falls.
 | | Chris had never been there before, and I hadn't visited since I lived in Lockport (over 10 years ago).
 | | These are views of the gorge from a rest stop along the highway.
 | | Penguins like photo ops.
 | | We decided to ride on the Maid of the Mist.
 | | Bruce decided to check out the Observation Tower.
 | | It was a gorgeous day-- sunny and hot, and we had a really great view of the falls.
 | | Getting misted on actually felt pretty good.

 | | The American Falls.
 | | Chris models the stylish blue poncho.
 | | One of the many "Maids of the Mist".
 | | Ditto.
 | | Bridal Veil Falls. Note crazy people getting really wet.
 | | When I was a kid, I went to Niagara Falls with my mom, my grandparents, and my great-aunt. I actually did the "Cave of the Winds" tour (I think that's what it was called).
 | | I remember the rain slickers, and the funny little booties, and getting pretty wet. I think that memory stuck with me more than what the falls actually looked like.
 | | The Canadian side.
 | | Ditto.
 | | Ditto.
 | | Cheese.
 | | Hi Mom.
