All good things must come to an end. It was quite an impressive run: over $2.5 million, with an average of $35,000 per game.

Posted by: poz at December 1, 2004 11:45 AMI had been trying to avoid learning the outcome in advance, but someone at work had hinted about it. Then, another friend called (during Final Jeopardy, while we were watching with a 10-minute TiVo delay) and confirmed what I had pretty much guessed. Drat!
What do you figure? Will he get to keep half of it? Between CA tax, federal tax, (dunno if UT has state tax), and tithing to the Church of JC and LDS, I'm guessing that will still leave over a million. Not bad for ~16 days work (assuming 5 episodes per day).
Another rumor that I heard today was that Ken had quit his day job. I missed his appearances last night on Nightline and Late Night; I wonder if he's decided to travel, become a hermit, found his own company…
